Join us for "Come to the Woods," a concert featuring the music of Emmy Award-winning composers Jake Runestad and Stephen Chatman, performed by the Areté Vocal Ensemble under the direction of Wyant Morton.

The program includes "American Triptych" by Jake Runestad, inspired by the writings of Henry David Thoreau, Wendell Berry and John Muir. Each movement captures a different aspect of humanity’s connection with nature, taking listeners on a journey through a rushing river, a peaceful lakefront, and a wind storm in the Western Sierra Mountains.
